What is Gasless Send and how do I use it?

Gasless Send lets you transfer USDT & USDC stablecoins without needing native tokens (like ETH or TRX) to cover transaction fees (gas). Instead, fees are integrated into your transfer—no extra coins required.

To use Gasless Send:
1. Select USDT or USDC in META VOULT.
2. Activate the 'Send without...' toggle before sending.
3. First-time gasless sends for each token require a one-time activation (small native currency transaction). After activation, future transfers won't require additional native coins for gas fees.

Gasless Send supports transfers across 9 blockchains:
- Tron (TRX)
- Ethereum (ETH)
- Polygon (MATIC)
- Arbitrum (ARB)
- Optimism (OP)
- Avalanche (AVAX)
- Binance Smart Chain (BSC)
- INKETH
- BASE

Why do I need native currency to send tokens like USDT or USDC?

When sending tokens across blockchain networks, transaction fees must be paid in the network's native currency. Without it, you won’t be able to complete your transaction unless you use Gasless Send.

For example:
- To send USDT or USDC on TRC20, you’ll need TRX.
- To send USDT or USDC on ERC20, you’ll need ETH.
- To send tokens on BEP20, you’ll need BNB
- To send tokens on SPL, you’ll need SOL.
Important:
Before receiving tokens like USDT or USDC to your META VOULT, make sure you also have enough of the network’s native currency. Otherwise, you won’t be able to send your tokens or pay for transaction fees.

Always check your balance for the native currency to avoid being unable to process transactions.

What if my phone gets lost or stolen?

First of all, do not panic. When you installed META VOULT, you would have been presented with your recovery phrase comprised of twelve to twenty-four randomly generated words and asked to keep them safe. On the basis you did this, your wallet and assets are fully recoverable.

When you find your phone or get a new one, simply install META VOULT and select 'I already have a wallet,' and copy and paste your 12 to 24 words to recover your account and assets.

Note: you are the only person with access to your recovery phrase. META VOULT does not store this or have access to it. Your recovery phrase is the key that opens your private vault containing your wallets and assets.

What is a self-custodial/non-custodial wallet?

In the traditional world, you pay your wages into a bank account and use it to pay for goods and services. However, the bank can pool its customers’ money and make investments without your consent. So while it is your money, you are not in complete control, and if there is a financial catastrophe, the bank can stop you from withdrawing your funds if they do not have the liquidity to cover withdrawals.

With self/non-custodial services like META VOULT, this scenario is not possible. You always have access to your funds, you own your data, and you own your security (keys).

With decentralized finance (DeFi), any blockchain is simply a distributed database containing transactional data. META VOULT gives you the tools to browse or explore these databases, i.e., META VOULT is to the blockchain what Google’s Chrome is to the web - a browser.
